New Baby

Friday May 20, 2011 ,our new adorable niece was born via c-section at 1:23 p.m weighing in at 8 lbs 5 oz. 18 1/2 inches long!
I was able to get to the hospital around 1 the day she was born, we didn't get to see her until around 4:30 after they moved my sister from recovery to her room. My sister was really out of it, the meds they gave her after the c-section knocked her out. I helped her breastfed a long with my sister n law (your wondering how, well lets just say we violated her) I changed the babies very first diaper! I love being an auntie!

Sunday I went back up to the hospital for the day, I got to dress the baby and do her hair and trim her nails! I miss having a little girl!

45 minutes...

Yesterday I had 45 minutes to come up and do a quick blog (I am trying to keep up and not go longer then a week on things I want to blog) when I log on I see the blogs I follow and if they have updates I catch up on them, which leaves me no time to do my own updates. So I had 45 minutes yesterday, after I got side tracked and read everyone else's blog I had 30 minutes to make the boys mac and cheese (snack/early dinner before Kyle's hockey game), wake a napping baby who had only been asleep 2 hours and he naps for 3 1/2 or 4 hours, so i knew it wouldn't be an easy task and that a fit would be involved and to get everything ready and loaded up... Which left me with no time to blog... Right now its 10:48 a.m and I haven't done my hair or gotten dressed, kids have a 4 day weekend so i got up and enjoyed my cup of coffee and then made them home made donuts. I have to finish getting ready, we have game 2 of 8 hockey games today and have to leave at 1, I still have to clean the kitchen, buy Brittney's Knott's berry farm ticket online and get the baby ready.. Happy Friday everyone! Oh and the 8 hockey games are between last night and Monday, not all today!

Wednesdays.

Every Wednesday after kindergarten myself and 2 other moms take the kids to the park, on days were the weather is bad we do a indoor playground. A few Wednesday's ago it was almost triple digits so we went to the splash pad and let the kiddos play!

Splish splash......

They love taking baths!

Luke and Blake could spend hours in the bath tun together!

Angels on the field

Luke started playing coach pitch baseball this year, he played t-ball last year. This was a lot different, it was 5 strikes your out, they kept score, it was "real" baseball (with a few changes since they are only 6).
He was on the Angels! Our favorite baseball team! He missed a few games because he had hockey games at the same time, but had a fun season!

Luke team had a good season. We played for 3rd on May 15. It was drizzling on the way to the game, then waiting for the coach it started raining, they warmed up in the rain, we played 2 innings in the rain and then the officials came out and gave us a choice to call the game and reschedule or wait 15 minutes to see if the weather improves, the other team said "we will wait" because they were winning by 5 runs and we have always beat them previous times we played them. Wouldn't you know right about 14 mins later it stopped raining and we continued our game to win them 13-12! Great way to end a wet, cold morning!
