Please understand that this blog has a mind of its own. Sometimes it wigs out it if I try to post to many pictures on one post, that is why I have to do "part 2". Sometimes it highlights words or sentences and I have no idea why. So anything weird (or even a common error which could be my fault) were blaming it on the Blog!

Christmas 2011 part 2 (read below first)
Every year I make cottage cheese pancakes (cottage cheese is in the batter). G's mom came over for breakfast. It was nice having her here all morning with us, the kids enjoyed being able to show all their gifts to her and play with them with her.
We took a few pictures with her before we headed up to my parents and before G's mom headed home.
Got to my parents and we took our annual family picture by the tree, since we were the first ones there. It did not come out to my liking, so it wont be posted here.
After everyone got up there we did the gift exchange.

Christmas 2011
Christmas Eve this year was a little different. Brittney had to work until 7:30 p.m. and since she usually goes out to her dads Christmas eve while we go to G's cousins, this year she would have been sitting home alone after work and I couldn't stand that thought so I decided to stay home, plus Blake was still getting over all the roseola symptoms.
G's mom had come out for Christmas Eve and Christmas day she she rode out with G, Kyle and Luke.

It was nice to be able to finish wrapping and putting Blake to bed on time. Brittney got us In n Out and then we got in our pj's and watched Miracle on 34th street! It was really nice to spend time with my little girl.
Christmas morning Luke came running into our room at 7:30 (not bad) saying "get up, its Christmas" He woke everyone up. We headed downstairs and in about 15 seconds (ok more like 30 mins) all of the pretty wrapped presents were now piles of trash, toys and clothes!

Cookies for Santa
Every Christmas Eve day we make Cookies for Santa. The boys love using the cookie cutters and decorating their own cookies. Blake even got into it this year.
We also always make reindeer food with oatmeal and glitter... Our little Luke is to smart and this year said "why do we put the reindeer food on the grass if the reindeer land on the roof". So the story changed to the glitter lights up at night and help lead the reindeer's safely! You gotta think quick with that boy.

Hanging out...
One of my favorite things about Christmas time is when we get to be in our PJ's early and hang out together as a family. We watch a hockey game if it is on or a Christmas movie.
