Hi Everyone!
I am new to this Blog thing but have seen so many and think it is such a wonderful way to keep family and friends up to date! I missed sending out a Christmas letter this year and heard a lot of disappointed comments, so maybe this will make up for it :)!
Brittney turned 14 on December 6. Wow she is a teenager in every way shape and form! She is in 8th grade and will be going into high school in the fall!! YIKES! George and I are not sure if we are ready for that!! She is really into her cell phone and the texting (have to say she follows in mom's foot steps there). She loves her friends and oh the boys!! Typical teen! She likes to babysit and earn money and then go shopping to spend it!! Dad and Mom love having a babysitter right here whenever we need one!
Kyle is 8 now! We are not sure how that happened! He is finishing up his first season in Ice Hockey! He LOVES it! Mom and Dad do too!! It is so fun to watch all those 2nd graders play the game! Kyle goes to school, comes home does his homework and goes out to the street with his hockey net and shoots pucks, usually before long he has a team of neighborhood kids playing with him. He is a great big brother and is always looking out for his little brother.
Luke is 3 now and potty trained!! I know being 3 and potty trained isn't that exciting to some of you but when we never thought he'd start talking (and he finally did about a month before he was 3) let alone be potty trained and the most amazing thing is that he did it in a day!! We just told him no more diapers and put underwear on him and he was good!! We have had 3 accidents, but that is to be expected! Luke follows Kyle's every move! He wants to be with Kyle where ever Kyle goes! Luke calls Kyle ~Owie~ not really sure why, but that is what he calls him. Luke has been taking tot hockey lessons on and off for almost a year. Some days he likes it and some he doesn't, so we are just taking it slow with him since he is still so young!
Denise is always running around here and there with one of the kids. She loves being a stay at home mommy and am thankful she can be!!
George has been having a blast with all the ice hockey activities, he is asstant coach for one of Kyle's teams. The kids, hockey, the wife, work etc. keep him with very little spare time. We are thankful for him in every way!
Please check back often as I am sure we will update!!
