Monday already? Where does the weekend go?
It is a really windy Monday! I am talking winds up to 60 mph! I do not like it at all! It makes things so messy.
After dropping the kids off at school I came home and taped up the back door and front door and cleaned up the inch of dirt that had already blown in. As I was doing that the trampoline was being blown to the other side of the yard, so I ran out and drug that back and put it close to the house. I went back inside to continue to clean and saw the dogs pool up in the air being blown away (one of our last crazy wind storms I was driving and found our dogs pool on the main road about a block away), so I quickly run outside again to get that. Now I am just sitting here praying that the trampoline stays put.
I have this new thing going on which I think is allergies and it is driving me crazy! I am limited to what over the counter drugs I can take and do not really like to take them but I seriously am going insane!! I am sure this wind is not helping!!
We had a good weekend. Friday night I met my 2 cousins and best girlfriend for dinner to celebrate my birthday, (yes it seems I celebrate for the full week). It was nice to hang out and have girl time, it seems like we hardly ever get together anymore.
Saturday we had our nephew Trent's 3rd birthday party to go to, we could only stay about 2 hours because Kyle had a night (for once) hockey game and we were about 50 minutes away from the rink. We had a good time while we were there and were able to see him blow out his candles and open our gift.
Kyle's game went well, we won 5 to 0. We played a team that has never won one game or even scored a goal, which makes me so sad. Those poor little kids! Our coach had our team doing something a bit different during this game, he told all of our players that before the puck could be shot that it had to be passed to every player on the ice. So our team got some passing practice during the game and we didn't stack the score on the poor other team!
Sunday Brittney and I went to Chicks to get her some Ugg's and then to the grocery store. Other then that we had a nice day at home! We made pancaked for dinner and watched the Kings game!
