We are a month into summer and as you can imagine with all 4 kids home I have no free time! I want so badly to be able to blog a few times a week, but....... I hopefully will learn how to from my new Blackberry phone, I can do it while I feed Blake since I am not to much of a TV person..
Here it is 10:33 Sunday night and I am waiting to get a text from Brittney telling me the movie is over and to come and get her and her friend, so since everyone is sleeping I can blog!!!
We haven't done much of anything so far since school has been out. We have made one beach trip last week. It worked out that G didn't have to work on Friday so he stayed with Blake and the kids and I took off with a friend for a beach trip. it was July 3rd, so a lot of people had it off for the 4th, so needless to say the place was CROWDED!!! We still had a blast!
4th of July we did the normal, went to my parents to swim and BBQ then down to the U of R for the firework show! The kids have such a blast, I do have to say they need to change things up a bit but who I am. Kids love it so it is great!
Kyle started summer school a week ago! BLAH! Him and I both hate it, although he doesn't know I hate it! That would make it worse on him. He got a teacher he had in 1st grade and she was a bum deal so I had him transfered out of her class. Now he has her for summer school! It's so hot for school! I will be so happy when it is over!
Brittney was suppose to attend but her class she needed to take was full, how lucky did she get?
Last week I signed Brittney up for Drivers Ed and she completed the course in a very short 2 and a half days!!! Now we have an appointment booked at DMV for Tuesday July 21st for her to take the written test for her permit!! So in just a short 8 days she could be driving me!!!!!!!!! Wow!! I realized that my parents got really lucky that we had drivers ed offered through school and it was no charge, cause with the drivers ed online, then the behind the wheel training it is costing us a pretty penny!! Ahh the good ol days!!!
Luke started hockey lessons!! We had put him in them back when he was almost 3 and he would do good for 15 minutes and then be done, so we quite and waited until he was older. He has had 2 lessons and is doing so well! He loves it and the last 15 minutes of the class they play a scrimmage game! it is so cute! Yesterday we bought him his first pair of roller blades, he is doing so good!
Blake is getting the cutest personality!! He knows who we are now and knows when we leave the room! He smiles so much and is starting to really laugh out loud at the older kids! I can't believe he is almost a half year old! Time is flying by!
I am so happy to have gotten through this posting before Brittney needing a ride home!! YAHOO!!!!
