Party Like a Rockstar!

I was really excited for Blakey’s birthday party, his actual birthday was kind of a bummer day, so I was really looking forward to his party!

It started out really well, I went and got my hair done, G put him down for a nap around noon (he usually naps for 4 hours) I got home got the house decorated and everything ready. He woke up around 4 and was a COMPLETE crab! Crying, throwing a fit about everything. That wasn’t part of the plan at all! It continued until about 5:30 (party started at 5), he finally got happy and started playing and running around with all the kids! WHEW!
We ate dinner then it was time for presents. He was so into opening his presents, he would open them and then toss them aside and be ready for another gift! He got mostly clothes (mommy was happy), and the few toys he did get he would stop and play with them before moving onto another gift!

 

 Cake time! He was so cute with his cake! He kept trying to put his hands in it, we sang to him and he blew out his candles! We gave him a piece of cake and he went for it! He was rubbing his hands together with frosting on both hands! Messy messy! All and all he had a great party which I feel made up for his actual bummer birthday but he is to little to know or remember.
