We had a pretty low key Saturday. Just hung around home. Saturday night George, Kyle, his hockey coach and two son's all went up to the rink to watch the boys (Kyle's and his team mates) ~Big Buddies~ game. A week ago Kyle's team all got a big buddy (16 year old) that will come every Tuesday to practice with them. Kyle's buddy's name is Michael. Kyle just can't stop talking about him. It is so cute! While the guys went out and did that, my girlfriend (coaches wife) Brittney and I all went to this neat place that does Reflexology, it is a Asian massage that they do on your feet and legs for 1 hour!!!! AND, it is only $15.00!! It was so nice and relaxing! We had another friend from hockey meet us there.
Sunday it was up and out of here before sunrise to head down to Panorama City for Kyle's game. We lost 2 to 1. :( Kyle was very upset because the last time we played them we won 4 to 0 and Kyle scored all 4 of our goals. But this time they knew who to look and go after.. Poor Kyle..
Sunday after we got home from the game G and Kyle headed down to Dodger Stadium to a L.A. Kings meet the players event. The kings had sent G two tickets for this event so it was to be only Kyle and G going, then a friend off our team had 4 tickets but wasn't going to use them so he offered them to us, I had plans to do lunch with a girlfriend so I told G to give the tickets away. My plans fell threw so Luke and I just hung out at home all afternoon. It was good for Kyle to get to go to something like that with out his little brother and Luke didn't feel like he missed anything (he played with the neighbors and had a good time). Kyle was a nice big brother and brought Luke's Kings hat with him and had some players sign it.
Brittney went with her friend to a soccer game and then to the high school to watch a dance competition. So all and all it was a good weekend, we are just excited for this weekend being another long one!! We have had three 4 day weekends the past 3 weeks!!
