Random Talk

Because I don't have much free time these days to blog (or do anything for that matter) I have to be kind of random when I do.

To add to Luke's funny things he says list, I forgot one again....
About 4 weeks ago I went and got my hair done and when I came home I asked him ~did you take care of Blake~ he said ~No daddy did, why you nervous~... Then about an hour later he says to me ~why does your hair look that way, it looks nervous~. It was so funny.

Tuesday we were playing outside and Luke ran across the street without looking for cars (he knows he is not allowed to cross unless G, myself or on of the older kids cross him) so I grabbed him and said ~what are you doing crossing the street without a big person, you didn't even look for cars~ he real nonchalantly says ~who cares~. Of course he got a spanking and sent to time out, because we can't have him crossing the street alone. But it was so funny.

Update on his goldfish... Yes, he died on Saturday March 14. We said our goodbyes as we watched him spin down the toilet.

Friday night Brittney came in my room at midnight and says ~Mom, this car just pealed out and now all these cops are outside~. I told her ok and went back to sleep. About 5 minutes later, the helicopter came. Of course this time I got up.. I went and sat on Brittney's bed and we watched out her window. Cops were everywhere, the helicopter was shining his light and cops were running around, it was crazy like we were watching the TV show Cops.. At one point they went to go in our backyard, but realized we had 4 dogs so they shut the gate and walked our wall with their guns drawn. SCARY!!!! They were looking in every one's backyards and cars. My friend down the street called to ask what was going on and they told her 2 guys were breaking into older cars stealing stereos and they got one but the other one ran. This all lasted about an hour or so and then we heard the police cars all take off really fast with sirens, so maybe they caught him?
