School...

Monday August 31st was Brittney and Kyle's frist day pf school. Brittney started 10th grade and Kyle started 4th.

I think they were both glad to be back, they were getting pretty bored the end of summer.

They both seemed to have really good frist days, Brittney liked all her teachers and was happy to have a few classes with her best friend.

Kyle likes his teacher also. We started out the school year on a right track!

Wednesday Sept 2nd Luke started preschool! He was so excited until we got to the door then he started crying. They had the parents stay for the first hour so that helped him a lot, we had a check list we had to do with our child. One thing was to find the bathroom, find their cubby, trace their hand and cut it out, make a name tag, then at the end one of the teachers (Miss Tammy) read a story called The Kissing Hand, it is about a raccoon who didn't want to go to school, so his mom kissed his hand and said I will always be with you. At that point they had us kiss the hand we had traced and cut out and say good bye to our little ones. Luke did ok, got a little teary eyed but was fine.

I picked him up and he was so excited and said it is the best preschool ever and when Blake gets his size to bring him to that preschool!

Friday drop off he got that sound in his little voice and said ~Mom, don't leave~, I signed him in and he went to trace his name, I kissed him and told him I would be back soon and he was fine. He has been fine since!
