Here it is late October already, I have been so bad on keeping up on my blog (I think I say this every time I post).
I celebrated my birthday on the 8th! Luke, Blake and I went to Disneyland for a few hours that morning, then that night Kyle had hockey practice, my friends made it a really good practice, they brought cake and balloons and sang to me!! How fun are they? I truly have amazing friends! The next night we went to dinner with our friends Sonia and Pat. The next day was Saturday and Kyle had a game, his team this season isn't the best, we have a mix of kids from beginners to 3rd years, so it makes it hard for the team. They have lost every game except one. :( We are hoping that things turn around!!! It stinks, Kyle is one of the best ones on the team but he can't do what he is capable of if the other kids don't know what to do.. That night 10 of my good friends took me out for dinner for my birthday!! We had so much fun!!
The kids picked easy Halloween costumes this year, which I am so happy about!! Brittney is going to be a cat, so we just got her black shorts, a tail and ears, Kyle and Luke are going to be beat up hockey players, so they will just put on there gear and I will do make up to make a black eye and we got some fake blood! Blake is going to be a dragon!
Brittney is going to go to her homecoming dance in about 3 weeks, so she is wanting to go shopping for a dress. A big group of her friends are all going together!! I think they will have fun! Times sure have changed since we were in school, friends never went in groups unless it was double dates.
So far (knock on wood) it seems both kids are doing really well in school!!! Britt is trying to earn ~Car insurance~ because she knows with bad grades I will not even discuss adding her to our policy. I love having this bribe!!!
Blake is too big to fast!!! Almost 9 months old!!! He has 4 teeth and is working on 2 or 3 more!! He is my earliest for teeth!! He is trying to crawl, he is getting around very slowly by kind of scooting, takes him awhile.
Blake is tired and ready for bed, so I will post again soon (hopefully)!!
