I do not know how we got so lucky to be able to sleep in on Christmas morning, normally the kids are up by 6:00 and this year I woke up and nudged G and said ~look at what time it is and no one is up yet~. It was 7:30!! At 7:45 Kyle came in and said ~Is it Christmas?~ Like he had forgot or thought he was dreaming. It was cute! So we got up, woke Luke and Brittney up and went to see what Santa left everyone!

Once the gifts were all unwrapped I made my usual Christmas breakfast while G took things out of the boxes and put batteries in everything. Then we headed up to my aunt's house for about an hour and then over to my parents. Kyle had asked for an electric scooter but was to late for Santa to bring it since he was already loaded up, so he asked Papa and Gram. Him and his cousin Jason who are 15 weeks apart in age had to open their gifts from Papa and Gram together, first they both opened a box that had a piece of paper in it that said ask someone who you would think could give you a clue on where your present is, well one asked Gram and the other asked Papa, they told them that they had 3 minutes to go into the toy room and find their next clue. As they were searching Papa and uncle Tracy went out into the garage and brought in 2 new electric scooters. The boys were so happy when they came back to see those sitting there. It rained pretty much all day that day but they still got to ride them a little.

Brittney was not to happy that I was taking her picture, but she smiled and posed anyways!
She got a lot of new clothes from her favorite store Abercrombie & Fitch, new clothes from Victoria secrets, some new shoes, perfume, make up and much more, can't think of it right now.
Kyle asked for goalie hockey pads so he can dress as goalie when they play hockey outside. That was his number one thing he wanted, he did not give Santa or G and I many ideas this year so it made shopping a bit more challenging. He got the goalie pads, a desk for his room (he was bugging for one a few months ago), a skateboard ramp (that he still has not even used), a goalie mask, a NHL Wii game, a hockey PSP game (which Kyle is not the average video game kid he only plays on days where the weather is bad and he can't go outside) and once again I can not remember what else he got.
Luke also wanted goalie gear (he has to be like his big brother). He was so into his presents it was fun! He got some tools, some night vision goggles, power ranger toys, a Wii game, some crayola coloring kits, he loves the magic light brush!! He got more stuff too, but yep you guessed it, my mind is drawing a blank.

Every year we take a family picture next to my parents tree.
